sanitation, sterilization and client/staff salon guidelines

Sanitation, sterilization and client/staff salon guidelines.

The health and safety of our clients, our staff and our loved ones remain the utmost priority. We appreciate your cooperation with our new salon policies below. As you prepare for your appointment, please review these new salon policies and if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us!
Health Waiver
When you arrive at the salon, we will be required to assess your temperature (no contact, infrared scanner) and ask you to fill out a form stating that you are not ill and have not been exposed to anyone with flu-like symptoms within the last 24 hours.
Cancellation Policy
We cannot accept sick clients of any kind. If you’re sick, please contact us to reschedule. We’ll get you back on the book as soon as possible. If that means cancelling with less than 24 hours notice, so be it. Don’t worry, we want to ensure that our salon is a safe environment for everyone.
Limited Blowouts
For your safety, we will be limiting the use of blowdryers. Cut/color appointments will receive a regular shampoo and blowdry. Haircuts will be performed on dry or dampened hair.
Social Distancing
Because the salon will be limited to a max of 50% capacity, only the client receiving the service will be permitted in the salon. We will require everyone in the salon to maintain a distance of 6 feet from others in all areas of the salon except at the station with you and your stylist only. Because of these restrictions, appointments will be required. We will not be able to accept any walk-ins at this time.
Curbside Check-in
When you arrive for your appointment, there will be a phone number posted on the front entrance. Simply call and let us know that you have arrived, then remain in your vehicle. You will be called once the previous client has exited the salon and the salon has been sanitized and sterilized to begin your visit.
No Hugging
Don’t be offended! We have to suspend all hugs, kisses and handshakes. Payment
We ask that you pay with a credit card/debit card to reduce the spread of germs.
Waiting Area
For your protection, we will not be able to have magazines or refreshments at this time. We apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause. We are just not able to keep the area and items sterilized to our standards.
Face Masks & Gloves
All clients and stylists must wear a protective facial mask in the salon. We recommended that clients wear an ear loop mask and gloves. We ask that you bring your own protective items to your appointment. If you are receiving a chemical treatment, you may want to wear a disposable mask. We will have extras on hand for those that need them. We also have vinyl gloves if you would like extra protection.
Sanitizing
Our salon is well stocked with hand sanitizers, wipes and cleaning products. All common areas and high touch surfaces will be disinfected after each scheduled appointment. We apologize in advance for any disruption.
Hand Washing
To help prevent the spread of germs, our stylists will sanitize their hands before each service and they will ask each client to do the same. We also have complimentary, disposable gloves for clients if they would like to use them. The health and safety of our clients, our staff and our loved ones remain the utmost priority.
